It is moose week at Ayaprun Elitnaurvik! Thank you, Alaska Trooper Brooks and ADFG Biologist Jones, for coming and talking about the moose population and hunting in this area. Quyana to elders Nels and Katie Alexie and Rose and Gerry Domnick for coming and guiding our students.

The meat will be donated to elders in our community and our students will have learned not just how to care for their catch with respect, but they will have also learned the value of providing for and honoring their elders.
